Following up on my recent post titled 'Don't get me wrong' in June..
I'm praying hard that one day, DH would decide to take the leap and just accept job offers from other countries. Frankly, I'm getting bored oledi living in KK (day in day out, it's the same routine..). Sabahans, dun feel offended k, I Love Sabah, I will definitely come back to Sabah, grow old here and be buried (or cremated.. hehehe) here.. But, for now, while I'm still young, I'd like to experience other cultures, see the world etc...
Had a chat with BIL and few other pals about this and for them, it is something they would definitely consider doing.. But my DH.. homeboy terlampau nie.. haiya... very difficult to convince him. Ada saja alasan. Of course in KK there's lots of opportunities.. That's not the point. The point is, I really dun want us to live a life where we just do the same thing, go to the same place all the time sampai tua.. adooiiiiiii!! That's not life!! If it's up to me (unfortunately it's not), I'd just pack our bags and go somewhere.. China, Cambodia, Laos, Australia, New Zealand... anywhere... work and stay there for 2-3years and move on to the next country.. angkut the whole family (extended) if possible...
All this while, we've been focused on making money, paying off mortgage, collecting assets etc, ensuring by the time we're in our forties, we'd be DEBT FREE and able to live solely on asset based income. I guess with expat income, we can still do this kan.. channel whatever extras back to Sabah.. while living life elsewhere.. it's possible right? I really pray that one of his geng keras will do this ASAP so that he'll consider to follow suit.. My mulut berbuya-buya oledi hinting him on this matter for many2 years, to the point of mual and finally I gave up.. God I'm so booooooored with KK!! (again.. Sabahans, no offense k).

I love my hometown too
but to be frankly if anyone got the chance to live outside the country for a chance, it will do more good than bad. Specially for kids.
They will appreciate other cultures and other countries and too mention getting more friends.
It is true that there are hassles here and there. But in this live there are always hassle right?
I feel blessed that we got the opportunity to got the chance to live in several different countries so far. Al though I hope to settle down some where some how.
and it helps to remind me to live to the fullest as we dont know when we will move out from here.
True that is the sad part of good bye , there is heartache and tears, but again if there is no farewell means there is no new chance of meeting new people.
:)
Everytime I knew that we will moved. I always got mixed feeling, sad, heartache, feel bless, excited, worry, challenged, all in one. Until I forget to cry about the farewell ! haha
Ya.. luckily today with advance technology like skype, FB etc, it's easier to keep in touch with those living far2 away kan.. (although it's not the same as meeting face2face, but it's a great quick fix for sakit rindu la kan..)..
I hope my DH will change his mind (soon).. otherwise, I'll have to wait for Mia to study overseas and I follow her la.. hahahah
