Book Rack

We finally installed a Book Rack on our staircase area (to replace the missing raillings).

We're hoping that this would prevent Mia from climbing the staircase area (again!)

without permission. She's our little spider-monkey :-)

New carpets

Tadaaaaa...... New carpet installed. DH picked d colour.. He likes nature/earth colour... so, brown lor... looks like milo kan... D living room looks bigger now. But wats important is, if Mia jatuh again, ada padding to soften her fall...

After the incident

The carpet guy called today. He said they'll be installing d carpet 2mrw morning/noon. I've never been a 'fan' of carpets... hair, dust, food etc gets stuck on it easily.. But, since the incident with Mia, we've decided to install thick carpet in d living room & on the stairs. Takut she fall again... Here's 2 'before carpet' look.. When she was still learning to crawl, i actually padded d entire living room (like in d photo). But i removed some of it after she mastered walking (who would have thought she'd knock her head on the unpadded area..) uhuhuhuh..
