Most Sabahan are UNHIP?&^%$#

I've never been to any concerts outside of Malaysia. In KK, I've been to quite a number of so called 'concerts'.. small scale type.. i.e. Air Supply concert at Magellan Ballroom, Michael Learns To Rock at Kompleks Sukan Likas ages ago (no other choices in KK, so I went lor...), Zainal Abidin at KDCA (this was during high school time) and others are dinner cum show by Sheila Majid, Abba-ration, Australian Bee Gees, Boney-M etc etc.. And last nite, I attended KK's 3rd Jazz Festival held at Sutera.

Here's my personal observation.. Most Sabahans are BORING people!! Sometimes I wonder.. Why do they even bother coming if they're just gonna sit there looking DEAD like a LOG, looking like somebody's forced them to sit through the show (maybe someone did), with their 'muka sepuluh sen'?? Just last nite, this 'asau' sitting next to us was sleeping during the 'very loud' show at the Jazz Festival.. even at the Air Supply Concert, a 'makcik' spent the whole nite checking out her hp (maybe it's new), WTH???..

But that's not the worse thing, famous entertainers find it difficult to even get Sabahans to clap their hands to the music, what more getting them on their feet, dancing.. At one point, Sheila Majid almost gave up... The crowd looked like zombies!! No wonder la nobody wants to organise any concerts here...

Looking back, I think our govt oso 'forbid' us from dancing, standing and having fun at concerts. During MLTR concert in Likas, the crowd started to stand and dance, then suddenly the MLTR guys went backstage and then there was an announcement from the organizer.. "Please take your seats otherwise MLTR will not continue their performance"... I was like ASTAGGAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! Punya la bikin putung stim!!! My advice, if u have the funds, go to Spore or anywhere else outside of Malaysia to really experience the full concert effect!!

Then there are few who doesn't know the meaning of RESPECT! I attended an EDDIE FUNKHOUSER show at Sutera years back. Eddie is a very famous make-up artist in the US and he is famous for his make-up style and his product range; very bold make-up .. As he was showing off his skills up on stage, suddenly we heard some guy screamed "WOW! like rainbow!" and he continued srcreaming a few other sentences I can't remember.. nasib baik, Eddie is such a good sport..
