Pregnancy#2 : Week 8

Last Friday (5 Feb), DH, Mia and I went to Puteri Specialist Hospital , JB to see an Obgyn. Managed to meet up with Dr Laila.

Here's the scan of our tiny baby; 6.6mm only.. extremely small.. strong heartbeat..

During Dr's appointment, I also found out that I have lost abt 1.5kg. My last weigh in at Dr Stuart's on 21 Jan was 57.5kg, on 5 Feb I was 56kg... 1 week of MS punya pasal la...

 

The good news is, my MS is not as bad as Week 7 or as Pregnancy#1. However, I'm still experiencing  pooling of saliva in the mouth causing nausea, feeling lightheaded, lack of appetite and queasy stomach. The sight of food makes me wanna throw up!

Yesterday after mass, we took Mia to the playground at Jusco Bukit Indah. I wanted to find a flat walking sandal, tapi  after few minutes of walking, I gave up... Guess I have to pakai selipar until I'm feeling 'normal' enough to go shopping..

I've also been discussing with DH about our delivery plans. We've decided to deliver the baby in KK due to multiple reasons.

1. We'd like this baby to bear the code '12' = Sabah in his/her IC instead of '01' = Johor.

2. The private clinics in KK would be able to provide a more personalized service at fraction of the cost. At Puteri Specialist (private clinic), it was soooo crowded. It was as busy as QEH/HPL in KK! We prefer KK specialist or SMC.

3. More family members and friends in KK to help us out before, during and after delivery.

This time around, I've decided to stay at my parent's hse instead of MIL. So sumwhr in July, I'll be flying back to KK with DH and Mia.
