Last nite, while searching for updates of Rpatz & Chris Weitz's visit to Japan, I stumbled across a very interesting 'mummy blog'... Started reading thru her recent and older posts, and I got hooked.
She's married to a Navy guy and have 2 beautiful daughters and they're currently stationed in Japan. They move around quite a lot due to her DH's Navy job. For me, her life is my interpretation of an 'interesting life'. Of course, a life like that may not be 100% perfect, but I seriously wouldn't mind living that life. Maybe not on a permanent basis la.. but for a couple of years; why not kan..
1. They get to 'travel' as a family across the globe
2. Some of their friends 'travel' with them (working on the same ship). I think her DH is a high rank officer
3. They get to experience new environment, culture as a family and with some close friends
4. DH earns in USD; so stronger currency = more spending power
Sometimes I wish DH and I can just forget about the 'security' word, the 'planning for the future' phrase.. you know; all the words and phrases banks and insurance companies use in their slogans.. and just live life as if 2012 is really the end of days for all of us...
