When I woke up this morning, I switched on my mobile phone and found 2 new text messages. One of it was from my MIL; the text message read "Info Influenza A (H1N1). Refer Holy Bible DEUTERONOMY 28:20-22 to avoid/follow EXODUS 15:26 and PSALMS 91:1-11, please pass to friends".
So i dug out our bible and started reading the tiny prints...
I had mixed feelings after reading the indicated verses from the bible...
DEUTERONOMY 28:20-22
"Yahweh will send a curse on you, a spell, an imprecation on all your labours until you have been destroyed and quickly perish, because of your perverse behaviour for having deserted me. Yahweh will fasten the plague on you, until it has exterminated you from the country which you are about to enter and make your own. Yahweh will strike you down with consumption, fever, inflammation, burning fever, drought, wind blast, mildew, and these will pursue you to your ruin".
What does it mean? It's a known fact that our world is entering a 'phase' whereby so many strange things are happenings across the globe in terms of weather, world economy, diseases etc.. There's also so many conflicting theory, ideology etc to explain these events.. I personally prefer not to think about it too much, but it's really getting close to home... Just few days ago, ambulances was spotted at a school near my home; they had to rush some primary school kids to the hospital due to Swine flu...
It makes me wonder, what have we got ourselves into?
