Potty Training Progress : 80% complete (Nowadays, when we go out, I dun put her diaper on anymore. I just make sure she pees before we go out and when we reach our destination. I've a potty in my car for this purpose. I dispose the pee2 into any nearby gutter or use a thick cloth to absorb the liquid and keep it inside a plastic bag. You know la, KK punya shopping complex 99% not baby/children friendly.. :-( and most of the time it's WET!! and dirty and smelly!!! very memalukan!! When at home, as long as she doesn't have any panties on, she goes to pee & poop on the potty on her own. If she's wearing panties/training pants, she's too impatient and memang ter-pee2 on her pants :-( Until today, she has yet to tell me if she needs to go pee2/poop.. mau independent kunun..
Academic achievements :
* Mia can now count up to ten and say the ABC (she still jumbles them up sometimes esp when she's lazy).
* She can now name all body parts including bellybutton, tongue, fingers, etc... so when a body part kena sangkut or is hurt, she'll be screaming "feet!", "hand!" and if she's got flu, she'll say "nose block".. cute oh..
Toddler proofing :
* I had to put a latch on the fridge door now. She pandai2 buka; take a slice of cheese, vitagen, grapes, orange or egg.. then she would take the grapes/orange to me and say "cut".
* When I close the safety gate to the kitchen entrance, she gets angry now.. so, I keep most of the cutleries, plates, bowls to bare minimum.. The rest, masuk almari and kunci kuat2.. All the cleaning products and sapu2 pun I had to ensure it's out of reach. Need to pasang another gate/small door to block the laundry area..
