I've been wanting to visit Sinurambi for many2 years now. Today, Sheila, her sister Shanty, Baby Caelan, Baby Mia and I went over to visit. The owner, Rose is a good friend of ours. We (Sheila, Rose & I) used to work at the former Pan Pacific Sutera Hotel way back in year 1997. I think most of us had left Sutera by end 2001. How time flies *sigh*.....
We arrived at Sinurambi at abt 11am and Rose took us for a tour of the place, the cabins, the main house etc. The view up there is simply amazing! Although the weather was pretty foggy, I can still see all the TARP Islands, Dinawan Island and Mt Kinabalu. During clearer days, Rose said we can even see Labuan! Her house is on top of a hill (on the Crocker Range).
We spent some time at the pool, had lunch and spent some time looking at old photos and chatted for hours. We had lots of fun. I think the babies had fun playing together too; swimming & playing in the sand box..
