No, I'm not Anemic and I don't have any blood related disease. I'm just stuck with a weird medical condition whereby my average blood pressure is around 90/50 all year round (if not lower). The normal blood pressure of a healthy person is about 120/80.. See the difference? I don't have any formal medical education so whatever I'm typing here are based on what I understand about this condition. I've done some research, but sadly this topic is not really a HOT topic compared to High Blood Pressure. As far as I know, there is no CURE to this condition. Fortunately, It's not something that requires any medical attention.

The definition of Low Blood Pressure according to MedicineNet.com
- Low blood pressure, also called hypotension, is blood pressure that is low enough that the flow of blood to the organs of the body is inadequate and symptoms and/or signs of low blood flow develop.
- Low pressure alone, without symptoms or signs, usually is not unhealthy.
- The symptoms of low blood pressure include lightheadedness, dizziness, and fainting. These symptoms are most prominent when individuals go from the lying or sitting position to the standing position (orthostatic hypotension).
- Low blood pressure that causes an inadequate flow of blood to the body's organs can cause strokes, heart attacks, and kidney failure. It's most severe form is shock.
- Common causes of low blood pressure include a reduced volume of blood, heart disease, and medications.
- The cause of low blood pressure can be determined with blood tests, radiologic studies, and cardiac testing to look for arrhythmias.
- Treatment of low blood pressure is determined by the cause of the low pressure.

This is how having a LBP has effected my life;
- During assembly at school, I always Pengsan. At one point Cikgu Razak said, "You Pengsan lagi"? My friends thought I was Anemic or something.. I think it's because of standing too long?? and crowded??
- Low stamina - Up till today, despite working out 2-3 times a week, I can't seem to improve my stamina. There are days when I can run on the thread mill non-stop for 20 minutes, some days 5 minutes pun mau pengsan sudah.. (how la want to be toned if like dis.. uhuhuh)
- I can't donate blood (my blood good quality punya oh!!!). In school, ambil blood for blood test (1 vile) trus pengsan punya.. I thought as I grow older, this wouldn't happen anymore. I wish! They took blood (2 viles) during the Nutrilite Health Assessment at NHI, trus pengsan.. more than 10 minutes i knock out.. embarrassing!!
- Right after delivering Mia, I pengsan just before they moved me from the delivery bed.
- If i fall down in a wrong way, memang pengsan punya.
- Forgetful - not the normal 'Oh, I forgot to buy bread' type.. Believe it or not, I don't remember much of my childhood, school time, even things that happens recently.. I think there's not enough oxygen going thru my memory bank... My brain only stores important details. So, blame it on my LBP if I forget certain details ok.. At one point, my ex-classmate Sylvia got pretty upset when I asked her, "which class were in you last time ah?" Padahal we were classmates since forever.. ops! Sorry again Syl..
- However, the best thing about having poor memory, I don't remember much of arguments, grudges.. So "Forgive and Forget" doesn't really apply to me, most of the time, it's "Forget & Forget"??..
- During my pregnancy (1.5-5mths), I was not able to sit up or stand for more than 5 minutes.. I feel like passing out.. So, had to keep my head down all the time.. can u imagine??
