Fact or Hoax? 22 July 2009 Tsunami Prediction DEBUNKED?

I posted an excerpt from an email I received from Sue titled "July 22nd 2009 another Tsunami.." abt a week ago and I'm really shocked to see the visitor counter in my blog jumped from 200+ to over 3,000 in just a few days.. That particular email must have reached thousands of ppl across the globe, causing much anxiety and concern.. especially to ppl like me.. living in Sabah (Malaysia).. So close to the "predicted" quake sites...
Today, i got this link from 'cycnus', http://www.snopes.com/science/tsunami.asp debunking the 22 July 2009 Tsunami prediction.

i actually wanted to mention that this is a hoax previously but don't want to hurt anyone's feeling...the map itself was spelt wrongly...it was spelt 'DISTASTER' instead of disaster...

It is a total hoax....

With current technologies, earthquakes are not predictable where and when to happen an hour advance, not to mention months ahead of it.
Not every earthquake cause tsunami even thought the epicenter is in the sea/ocean. There were many strong quakes in Indonesia after the tsunami disaster. There were no tusnami from that quakes.
