Our Trip To HongKong and Disneyland (Feb'11)

Yay! It was a dream come true for our little Mia :-) and also for me.. hehehhe. I'd like to share some of our memories while we were there and also some travel tips to those who plan on traveling there in the near future (especially with 2 small children).

Day 01: 12 Feb'11, JB-SIN-HKG
We flew to Hong Kong via Tiger Airways, which took off via Singapore's Changi Budget Terminal at  1.40pm.  It was our 1st time on-board Tiger. Everything was in SGD. So, our meals and drinks on-board the plane was obviously expensive (after 2.4 conversion rate.. hehhe). The food choices was very poor if you compare with the selections that AirAsia has and it took quite sometime to arrive i.e.15-20mins. The attendants goes down the isle taking meal orders and collects payment dulu, and once they are done, they reheat the food packets containing the 'lauk' then put the lauk on d serving container with freshly cooked rice.

Our Family Trip to Beijing, China (18-26 April 2010)

We're back in JB! Left for KL since 7 April to prepare for our family trip to Beijing (unfortunately DH couldn't make it to China with us... uhuhuhuh).  We stayed at my sister Enid's house in PJ before and after Beijing trip. I was really looking forward to this trip as it was our first holiday (outside M'sia) with my mum.

Although this trip didn't go as smoothly as I was hoping... Overall, we had a fun great time; thanks to everybody who helped me and Mia.. I won't be blogging much about China's places of interest, but more of what we had to go through everyday while we were there..

Happy Holidays! (Part 2)

Jln2 at Danga Bay Night Market

End of holiday season

Last day of the year. If you have regrets, forget it.
If you have sadness, throw it away.
If you have happiness, treasure it.
If you have unfinished plans, re-plan it.
Tomorrow is New Year, start everything a new.

Last member of our family left JB today, back to KK... uhuhuhuh.. We'll miss the noise, the company...

Before I post photos of our extended family holiday, juz wanted to share something that almost ruined my New Year's Eve celebration.  On NY's eve, I got a call from my dad (in KK). He told us that our KK house was broken into. The thief basically broke whatever padlocks/locks/chains that we installed in our kitchen grill/door.. Our alarm siren box was also smashed to pieces.. They had a party in our house; drank whatever alcohol we had in the cabinets, went upstairs and rummaged through our wardrobes and office drawers... We're not sure what has been stolen; but thankfully we didn't leave any valuable items at home. My dad said, our TV is still there.. They were probably looking for items that can easily be sold like gold or small items like HP, camera...  I was feeling really down; trying to imagine the mess... But I was determined to start the New Year with a positive frame of mind... And I did! Hope it's not too late to wish everybody out there a Happy and Prosperous New Year!!

Planning a Family trip to Europe in 2010

Yes! I'm planning a trip to Europe for our family, which includes my sisters, my mum and probably my dad and brother.. The two man in my family takut want to fly, so I'm not sure if they are coming. I expect DH, BIL and my sis's bf to join as well. Klu tidak, who's gonna help us carry Mia & Destiny when they are tired of walking or bored sitting on the buggy? hehehe

As of now, I'm stuck! I know a DIY itinerary would be much more flexible and cheaper. But, I'm clueless! Where to go? How long should we stay there? Which country to visit? bla..bla..bla.. The other option is to take a tour package. But most agents only have packages up to March'10.. And we're planning to go either in Apr or May.. help!

Our Trip To Port Dickson (11-14 November 2009)

Just wanna share some photos from our recent trip to PD. We stayed at Thistle PD and was fortunate to be upgraded to a beautiful suite.. Nice :-)

Mia surely had fun swimming with her Daddy at the pool; going on the slide and all.. Kalau di JB, mana ada chance swimming with daddy..

and walking on the beach and swimming in the ocean..

PD is such a small place.. within 1 hour, habis sudah we pusing-pusing the surrounding area.. Oh, we managed to stop by and have dinner at Avillion also - very nice place also.

I got a surprise cake from Thistle.. A Birthday cake.. I was touched; I wasn't expecting anything.. And Mia loved  the balloons that came together with it.. They included 3 big +1 small candle; wow.. I'm flattered.. I'm actually 33yrs old this year.. gosh; how time flies..

Our trip to the Singapore Zoo

During our recent trip to Spore, I managed to take Mia to the zoo together with our friends Gerard & Soo Yee. The weather was soooooooo hot!! But I think Mia really enjoyed the trip especially during the water play session... I didn't plan on taking her to play in the water, luckily Gerard was wearing a more suitable attire to accompany her while she plays...
